Traktørstedet Vestamager is an oasis in the big city, where you can enjoy the sepctaular view of Nature Park Amager.

 

Here you have access to nature all year around.

 

The deer skip by, while you enjoy the sunset and a glass of wine on the terrace.

During the winter time we have hot chocolate for your cold hands, while the snow is falling softly on Copenhagens savannah.


We are primarily a lunch restaurant.

We make our meals from scratch, and we make a virtue of using fresh and local commodities.


On the menu we always have 'meal of the day', which always consists of something new.

Try out our homemade burger, which we make with meat from the cows who grass around the nature park.

Try this season's soups and our fresh, delicious salads.

At our restaurant we offer vegetarian and vegan meals, for example our tasty Daal is always on our menu.


We also sell delicious organic beverages; sodas, coffee, tea, wine and more.


We make homemade cakes and snacks as well.


Even though we are a lunch restaurant, we can always host your party or event - both day and night!

The Staff at Traktørstedet

We are a mixed group of people working at Traktørstedet. In the Kitchen, it is Sofie and Hanne that runs the weekdays with preparing and cooking meals for the lovely guests that visit us.


In the weekends we are lucky to have both Kim, Emma and Rebecca who prepare the linch orders as well as prepare for the parties and events, and serve the Burger, the Daal, the house salad and all the other good stuff that the menu has to offer. 


Quite often we host evening parties, such as weddings, birthdays, christening parties, comapny get togethers and many more events, and as the photo show, we always have a lovely team of people working on these occasions. They both prepare, clean, serve the guests, and generally they make sure that the parties are good experiences for our guests.


At Traktørstedet we also have dear young people helping out with maintaining the resraurant, both on weekdays and in busy weekends and at paries. We are so happy that they work with us, and this mix of many different people and age ranges, makes it such a great place to work with space for us and our differences, and commitment to work as a team together.

Hanne Barild is the manager and lessee of Traktørstedet, and she has been soince January 2016.

Her background spans from bartender to a certified body-therapist.
